Thank you. Lamb went #2 and Swift went #3 (UGA grads in our league)... so I was ecstatic to have the choice between Taylor and Dobbins at #4.

Burrow and Claypool went too 10 so I felt like I got great value on Higgins and Mims in the 2nd round. I wasn’t high on Mims but at 15 I thought it was definitely worth the dart throw.

I doubt Chase would even draft himself in the top 10 of a rookie draft.

Might explain how he got the 1.1 for so cheap.

The guy went to ND and is a huge PIT fan. Also had no 2nd, so he wasn’t taking the chance on missing out on him.

1.01 guy was all about swift so I offered him that deal knowing he could get more value for the pick and get his guy.

The Claypool pick was obviously the biggest head scratcher of the draft. Taken before Jefferson, Higgins, Pittman, Ruggs

Regardless my team is looking 10x better than predraft

The Higgins pick at 2.03, mmmmmmm.
Top RBs, Top WRs, even got Gay.
Excellent draft. That’s how you swing a rebuild

Jalen Reagor led all college WRs in contested catches. He's my #1 rookie WR right next to Lamb.

That's true.

(And you're not doing this, so this is def not directed at you - just continuing the convo from the raised!! :thumbright: )

In the role he would likely be given off-the-bat, i don't particularly see it as an issue either.

We could say the same of DJax (not many broken tkls), so i don't see it as a big knock. If that's his ceiling, thats not too shabby.

Could he break more tkls than we've actually seen him do to date? IDK :dontknow:

If anyone's watching his college game? Bama block (VERY) well downfield ... they also had him do specific things (to manipulate him into space vs traffic) ... they had other (lots of them) legit (very) WR options that did other specific things.

I think Ruggs offers value because of the tgts available. Theres a fair bit up for grabs in Oakvegas

Staying long term, I actually think Ruggs was the 4th best WR at Bama last year (I like Smith much more). Thats no knock on Ruggs - thats still rare air and more an observation and grudging respect to the quality of that receivers room - but if anyone is drafting Ruggs over Reagor or Aiyuk, i'd be on the other side of that.

In any scenario with upside prospects with similar ceilings, id much rather take the one's with less projection to make.

As such, id lean far more towards to Reagor & Aiyuk, as ive already seen them do more (in terms of the overall WR skillset) coming out, with much less (in terms of supporting cast; Quality of QB + other coverage drawing WRs).

1.08) Jalen Reagor- WR Eagles (Aker, Lamb)
2.01) Justin Jefferson- WR Vikings (mims, moss, Ruggs)
3.01) Jordan Love- QB Packers (nobody i wanted more than Love right here. Owning ROdgers was just icing.)
3.02) Brandon Aiyuk- WR 49ers ( this was a hard pick for me. the homer in me made me grab Aiyuk. Hope it doesnt bite me because i passed on 2 guys i liked. RBs Antonio Gibson WAS , Anthony Mcfarland Pitt.)

Jefferson @ 13th
Aiyuk @26th

That's good for you, but that's ... "strange" drafting by your peers

Just for the record, Iam offended by the Raiders name. I will fight for a name change , they will be changed to the Las Vegas Oaks.

TY for your time.
