I’m firing up RoJo with confidence this weekend and expecting RB2 numbers.

I want to play him so bad but have Saquon/Jacobs/JT going and not sure who I would bench to play him, tough matchup on paper for Jacobs but he looked good last week.

I'd consider JT for the bench...might be the Hines show

I'm willing to eat crow if I'm wrong...

But Hines and Malcolm Brown are my week 1 FA acquisition mirages of the year.

I just don't see why Hines would continue to be the 3rd down back while being so inefficient -- this has been true his entire career. JT posted a 100% catch percentage and doubled up on Hine's yards per reception. He looked very fluid and dangerous in space, and flashed elite speed and acceleration (hitting 21 mph on a 5 yard run).

I think Brown maintains a role, especially with a lead.

That's why I say he's a mirage

Feels a lot like Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard last year; where Sanders was still being given a ton of reps despite being outproduced early on in the year until he eventually took over the backfield.

I agree he'll have some short term value as Aker's gets his feet under him.

Be hard for me to bench JT, see him as more upside than Rojo but guess I could be wrong. Time will tell

Redraft wise, if you grabbed Taylor your almost obligated to to start him.
In the same boat with a redraft team as far as Jones goes. I’ll start Taylor with Chubb, and flex Jones this week.
Edit:Jones over Hines at flex in .5 ppr

I'm debating between Jones and David Johnson (or possibly Snell) this week. I will change my mind at least a dozen times between now and Sunday, and ultimately choose the wrong one.

I'm leaning toward DJ, and that seems like the smart move, but "Ronald Jones is going to have a big week" keeps creeping into my head.

I think "Akers takes over this backfield" is the mirage.
