Apparently, somebody called him the "Canadian Megatron", and now the new nickname has stuck.
The kid is big (238 lbs), tall (6'4"), and has a 40½" vertical jump.
He's a legit talent.

Unfair to saddle young players with a nickname from a genuine superstar.

I like Primus as well.

Agreed - nobody wants a nickname based on somebody else's.

For comparison, here's Johnson's rookie stats:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_ ... in-johnson
2007: 95 tgts, 48 rec, 756 yds, 15.8 ypc, 4 TD

And Claypool's:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/40 ... e-claypool
2020 first 5 games: 24 tgts, 17 rec, 335 yds, 19.7 ypc, 4 TD
2020 extrapolated: 77 tgts, 54 rec, 1072 yds, 19.7 ypc, 13 TD
