Trade option:
Jonnu and Higgins (bench player for me starter for them) for Kelce

Thoughts?

Oh yeah. Smash that.

Love Jonnu, but I'll move on from him+a WR3 for Kelce in a heartbeat.

Yes - do that deal plus frees up another stash for you while solidifying stud TE

*in fact I may offer the same Jonnu deal to Kelce owner but with Jefferson for Higgins

kelce and Jonnu are so close is stats right now but the upside of Kelce is huge which is why I am adding Higgins

Was offered Kittle/Stafford for Tonyan, Kupp, Fournette?
Current roster:
QB Fitz - streaming
RB Jones , CEH, Fournette, Harris, Jackson
WRS Golladay, AJ Brown, Kupp, Fuller , Hilton
TE JONNU, Tonyan

Probably don’t need Kittle with Jonnu but trade for someone else. Thinking about it if he would thrown in Swift. Thoughts?

Really not sure how this helps you at all. Kittle is great when he his healthy, but he has already missed 2 games and seems sure to miss a few more. Unless starting 2 TEs is realistic in your league you will probably be starting Jonnu anyway. Stafford is a downgrade from Fitz, ranking somewhere in the low 20's at QB. Kupp is a solid WR2 and Fournette provides some RB depth with all the injuries and bye weeks coming up.

Bumping this thread because TE sucks. Maybe one year I’ll draft Kittle or Kelce early.
I’ve had so many different TE’s this season it’s hard to keep track. I have Fant with Goedert in IR slot in 1 league, and Another league I have Jonnu, who’s playing thru an ankle injury and losing targets to Corey Davis.

Any sharks like these TE’s over Jonnu / Fant?

Richard Rodgers
Evan Engram
Jared Cook
Eric Ebron
Trey Burton
Jimmy Graham
Greg Olsen

Stay the course with Jonnu. All of those guys feel like really reactionary pickups. If you have the bench space and need a 1-week fill, Rodgers might make sense for this one game though.

Right, and the Bengals are 30th against opposing tight ends in points against...just giving up 6/76/3 to the Browns backup duo. Jonnu played through an ankle sprain last week - unless his late week practice reps are limited this week expect him to be healthier for a plus plus matchup.

I picked up Burton as a Jonnu backup. Watching them it seemed obvious that he will be a large part of their offensive gameplan moving forward, especially with captain check down at the helm. Could easily be a TE1 ROS IMO.

Agree with Rodgers this week.

With news of Goedert being back this week, Rodgers may not see my lineup.

Who do you think is the better play for week 8, Burton or Bryant?

Both teams have low upside passing games, but Burton is in a 3-way timeshare and I think is Bryant is a flatout good talent. He'll get a clearer target share, so I'd go with him.

I think they'll see similar targets (5-6), but I'd call Burton a better bet to get into the endzone.
