Looking for some help. I was trying to trade for Mike Davis. Who here has the crystal ball...Is CMC returning?
I was looking for a cheap fix with some potential, but the cost is high for both CMC and Davis as a package.
I tend to think CMC maybe shut down. Not sure of their playoff chances.

How long are you looking to use Davis? I'm debating about starting him or dropping for Ballage.
But i'm pretty sure no one has ever sat in that scenario.

I just sent Ke'Shawn Vaughn packing in my Dynasty league for the hope of a Mike Davis big day against the Lions. I'm 5-5 and willing to see if that can help me make a playoff push.
Even in a redraft - if you're trying to make the playoffs, you gotta be willing to give up a WR2 or something to get a guy like Davis v Detroit. I dont think CMC will be shut down, but I doubt he plays before the Bye, so you'll have Davis v Minnesota too. Not a great matchup, but he still has a high-touch floor.
You have to be willing to overpay for wins at this point in the season.

I suspect the useful life of Mike Davis has come-and-gone. He put up some good points in our game at first, but the means he got them weren't attention grabbing.
w3 - 23.1 pts, 13-46 8-45-1
w4 - 22.1, 16-84-1 5-27
w5 - 29.9, 16-89 9-60-1
w6 - 13.5, 18-52-1 2-3
#1 scorer over that stretch and #4 in per game rates and while 4.3 ypc and 4.8 ypt certainly aren't terrible numbers they don't exactly scream we need to keep feeding this guy. Then this happened:
w7 - 12 touches
w8 - 14 touches
w9 - 6 touches (CMC played)
w10 - 11 touches
He averaged > 20 touches between w3 and w6, but even in the games CMC was out Davis still averaged just 12 touches/game and registered zero top 25 weeks w7-10.

Those numbers are rough. And not trending well. You're selling me on dumping Davis for Ballage. It's just the lack of competition that draws me to him.

In no world would I ever advocate for someone to start Ballage, but even with plus matchups in front of their bye how do you convince yourself that Davis is a good idea? Especially with Bridgewater gimpy/out.

Cmac should return,his useage will likely be big upon return as it was when he got hurt - if u r trying to get both he and davis, it will likely cost alot - mngrs more often tjhan not over value their guys - especially true with a cmac guy - if you are in playoffs more than likely and guy who has panther rbs, needs immediate help in more than 1 starting spot - those circumstances may allow it to come together.
id guees the guy with cmac/davis is planning to get in with last playoff spot - catch lightning in bottle with cmac and do well in playoffs
