I don't think he's as bad as he's showing this year (and probably won't get back to his peaks) but maybe a change of scenery and a familiar coach will spark something.

The eagles offense has sputtered ever since their trifecta of Offensive gurus separated (Frank Reich, Doug Pederson, John DeFlippo).
One of these guys is a QB coach, and the other hasn't fielded a competent offense in 2 years. The other was at the forefront of a pro bowl QBs return, and has fielded competent offenses with a career backup QB, and an established franchise QB on his last legs.
I'll let you guess which ones are which

Forward thinking GM too. They obviously won't be in position to pick a qb, so if you're going the vet route why not hold their feet to the fire and demand draft compensation in addition to him to get him off their books.

Just in case a team doesn't have a quarterback under contract for 2021 and also has Wentz's old OC as it's head coach.
If overthecap is right they could designate him as a post June 1 cut for $10m if they're able to make an Osweiler deal. Whether they can do that or not first depends on where the NFL ends up with next year's cap. If it's reduced then it will be challenging to find a buyer.
The eagles see a big hit in 2022. I think like 23 million if traded post June first.
