Lions hired Saints DBs coach Aaron Glenn as defensive coordinator.
New Lions coach Dan Campbell's hiring has yet to even be officially announced, but word of his staff is already leaking. Glenn and Campbell coached alongside each other in New Orleans over the past five years. 48 years old, Glenn took some time off following the end of his 15-year career in 2008, but he has been a quick riser through the coaching ranks after leaving the Jets' scouting group in 2014. Glenn spent 2014-15 with the Browns before landing in New Orleans. He has developed on one of the league's top coaching staffs over the past half decade. It's an exciting hire, but Glenn has extremely little to work with in the Lions' Matt Patricia-gutted defense.
