So we're rewarding players for not seizing their backfields now?

I'm mostly kidding. He's a decent flier in a class full of ambiguity

alvin kamara never took over the vols backfield. i'm mostly kidding.

I think Chuba is this years Darrell Henderson. Will be widely over drafted in rookie drafts and will never live up to the hype. Im out on Chuba. Straight line speed guy, I wont own any shares as he wont fall far enough for me to feel comfortable taking him.

Demetric Felton and Elijah Mitchell are two guys that I liked in college. Deep deep guys and likely wont get the draft capital but Im interested to see what the NFL thinks about both of these guys. Larry Roundtree and Javian Hawkins are a few other names Im eyeing.

Waldman let slip his top RB is Sermon.
Edit: we’d know anyways, come RSP in a few weeks, but he put it out there in a podcast recently.
I’ve been burned on his WR evals before, but he is on point with RBs imo.

Talent is not Sermon's problem.

Yeah, I get that.
I saw him run this year.
Is it staying on the field that’s the problem? Cuz that has come up,
I don’t know anything about off field with Sermon.
He definitely looks the NFL RB part

Si. What he did on the field at the end of the season was legit. All of the skills and traits one would want out of their lead back. Sustainability though. And that would be something to consider risking if he displayed more in the pass game, but to this point he hasn't.

Maybe Waldman will throw in that (those) caveat.
Always interested in his takes. And yours too, Oar
I see Harris as the 1, by a lot. Not close, imo

The burst in his cuts and his fluidity is fun to watch.

Sermon is my enigma RB this year.

I don't know if his short area quickness is good enough to make defenders miss in the NFL like he did in college where he displayed that ability and might be his best asset. It could be it's that good. He gets dinged for an apparent lack of long speed. That doesn't concern me that much.

I like how he always seems to fall forward to get an extra yard and despite his limited receiving opportunities, he catches the ball away from his body with what looks like decent hands so he could be a competent receiver out of the backfield. He also seems to have some degree of patience and might fit better with a zone blocking scheme.

If he falls, I'd love to get him in the 4th Rd in PIT, trading up to get him because he'd probably be the best RB on their team right now. I can also see a team like NO taking him as a compliment to Kamara or PHI as a compliment to Sanders.

He might be one of those guys who is more valuable NFL team wise than for fantasy football purposes.

He's got some Arian Foster to his game.

This was exactly my thought with him as well.

Concur....That's a good comp.

Not to offer an excuse for him but his play early in the season compared to the end of the year might be attributable to transferring to OSU and not getting there until June 2020. Combine that with a probable disjointed at best training camp / team transition / Big 10 season uncertainty due to Covid and it's not unreasonable to think the guy at the end of the year is more representative of who he is than the guy the first few games.

i like patterson however he has little pass catching experience so i will pass as i only want 3 down backs if i can get. he will be a good goal line back and a great two down back im guessing
