I see the Lions losing the next 2, but being competitive, and then they should win out, though I could see Green Bay or Chicago pulling an upset in one of those two games.
And if they go 2-3 in their last 5 games guess what negative impact it will have on their culture or their ability to get free agents? Absolutely none. The league has taken notice of the changes they have made and they are seen as an up and coming team regardless of making the playoffs or not making the playoffs.
They currently pick 4th and 15th, and the Rams have given up. 13-17 might be the sweet spot for Skoronski, who is the most Dan Campbell player ever.

Look, I like Goff, I think he got a raw deal at the end of the Rams tenure, but he is limited in what he can do. If a team is able to build around that, great, the Lions are basically doing this and not asking him to win them games by himself. The Rams also were able to do that, but when they had prime Gurley it was like a cheat code for the entire offense.
Burrow on the other hand? He is the kind of QB talent who can win you games by himself. Yes, all QBs need talent around them, and yes, Burrow has Chase who is a tremendous player. But he's also won without Chase, he's shown what he can do.
So has Goff, and it's not the same thing.

Who scares you in the NFC?
PHI probably the closest thing to a complete team. I would have said SFO but the Jimmy G injury makes me wonder. DAL has the McCarthy factor, that can bite them at any point. MIN doing the Rodney Dangerfield routine.
This baby is ripe for a team to get hot down the stretch and surprise. Just not sure who that might be.

The eagles scare me.
They are clearly the best team in the NFC and maybe the NFL, but the Bills and Chiefs seem as though they could keep up with the eagles.
The rest of the NFC teams feel flawed in one way or another, and as much fun as the Lions are, and will be if they do make the playoffs, they aren't scary really. Sure, they are scary to the Vikings or Cowboys, but I don't think the Eagles would be worried about them and I think the 49ers would also beat them.
Or, the scariest team is whichever team wins the NFCS because it is just so scary to watch how bad they all are.

It's a little crazy how far the NFC regressed in a year.
I think the 49ers were the team to beat in the NFC before Jimmy G went down but it sure looks like the Eagles or God forbid the Vikings are the favorites now.

I don't see how this changes anything. He's gonna be their 4th target or something? As much as I would him to return his former glory, I think that ship has long since sailed.
Yeah i dont think OBJ is going to have any impact as far as this year's playoffs are concerned. I could be wrong but i really dont think i am.
