Well I've stumbled on to a really good iPad offline draft app that would eliminate the need for pen and paper. "NFL fantasy cheat sheet" features drag and drop rankings, vbd or adp rankings, the ability to assign players to a team, customizable scoring and rosters to fit pretty much any league, offline mode no need to be connected to the Internet. Has an iPhone app but I did not test it.
I tinkered with it today customizing my rankings and such. Pretty impressed, it'll be a great tool during draft day. The projections and rankings from nfl.com suck in areas but at least you can fix that with your own rankings. Love that I'll be able to assign players to teams and browse rosters during the draft. All in all if you own an iPad this is the app to have on draft day.
Other iPad apps I've seen: FF draft gm- allows for more customization but a lot of work required.
