Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills
It is easier to make bets for the Buffalo rushers, but the receivers are a bit tougher. We do not know who will suit up yet at WR for the Bills with Cole Beasley still questionable. Stefon Diggs will play, but Beasley’s status will affect Isaiah McKenzie (+325).
Buffalo is among the top ten worst in the league against opposing tight ends so I will take a stab with Trey Burton at big odds.
L.A. Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
- Cooper Kupp Over 52.5 yards
If Goff suits up, this will be a much better play. This is not a game that should feature tons of points so props such as TD scorers should be limited. We also still do not know the starting QB for the Rams and that will affect the pass catchers and running game. Many books do not have all of the numbers up for player props due to the dynamic injury reports.
Tampa Bay Bucs @ Washington Football Team
- Rob Gronkowski TD +190
- Tom Brady TD +650
- Tom Brady first TD +2900
- J.D. McKissic Over 31.5 receiving yards (-112)
- J.D. McKissic Over 4.5 receptions (-102)
If Mike Evans sits, Gronk automatically becomes the Bucs’ top scoring threat. If the Bucs get to the goal line, there is a good chance that he keeps things in his own hands and sneaks in for a TD. The Bucs have given up a league-high 101 catches to opposing RB’s so I like McKissic’s receiving props here.
Parlay (254/1): Bills win by 11-15; Seahawks win by 6-10; Bucs win by 6-10
Most Rushing Yards in Playoffs: Cam Akers 50/1 (MGM) – Clearly a long shot play, but if the Titans lose to the Ravens, the door is wide open for any another RB to win this bet. Derrick Henry (+260) is the massive favorite, but we like taking a shot with virtually anyone else.
I am sitting on tickets of the Chiefs 6/1 (preseason) and the Seahawks 14/1 (November) to win the Super Bowl. I am not as confident in the Seahawks with the recent play of their offense, but if they can get by the Rams, I like the Russ’ chances against any of the other elite QB’s on the road.
Here are my predictions for the Conference Championships:
AFC: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills
NFC: Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks
