Keeper Stock Watch – 15 Players Drafted Late to Target

  1. CeeDee Lamb – Continues to look like the best wide receiver in Dallas and now Amari Cooper injury concerns are rising up too? The Lamb train (?) is leaving the station.
  1. Antonio Gibson – So the hype has gotten completely out of control on Gibson since last week, with some drafts HAVING HIM GOING IN THE FIRST ROUND. That’s a little wonky for me, but a 6-foot-1, 225 pound lead back doesn’t just appear out of nowhere often.
  1. Jerry Jeudy – LOCKed his starting role and he’s a LOCK to get massive targets out of the slot as long as that Drew (Lock) kid can get it to him. See what I did there?
  1. Parris Campbell – Another fast riser up this board who cemented his status on the starting roster. Super quick wide receiver who hugs the line of scrimmage with his routes? Philip Rivers loves that.
  1. Bryan Edwards – That’s it, I’m just going to rename this section the “young receivers who now are starting for an offense that will pass a lot” … list.
  1. Allen Lazard – This is a young receiver who is now starting for an offense that will pass a lot. See??? It works.
  1. James Robinson – The first of two new Jacksonville players to make the list. Have I been watching “The Good Place” too much lately or something?
  1. Laviska Shenault, Jr. – Seriously though, go watch “The Good Place.”
  1. Zack MossDevin Singletary is the new David Montgomery. I just don’t buy his skill set and whatever he can do, I believe Moss can do better.
  1. Van Jefferson – The only concern here is coach Sean McVay uses two-wide sets the same way he did at the end of last season. If that happens, Jefferson could bust. But if I am a betting man, I would bank on a return to the three-wide, slinging it all over the field Los Angeles Rams of old.
  1. Darius Slayton – Slayton has fallen down this list for no reason other than a complete, utter lack of buzz from camp. Sterling Shepard seems to be the current apple of Daniel Jones’ eye and that is super worrisome for Slayton truthers.
  1. Phillip Lindsay – The hope of a 50/50 split between Lindsay and Melvin Gordon seems to be coming true. Now if he can just wrestle away 10 percent more we may have a weekly winner on our hands.
  1. Preston Williams – Smoke from Miami camp has DeVante Parker spiraling down draft boards as Williams hype heats up. I still want Parker of the two on my team, but the fact that they are this close is a good/bad sign (depending on who you are hoping to emerge).
  1. A.J. Dillon – Hopefully ends up doing more than just goal-line plunges. Don’t give me the next John Kuhn please.
  1. Jalen Reagor – News reports out of Philadelphia are still optimistic he may only be out two weeks. Don’t forget about him in the interim.

Falling off the list: Damien Harris, Anthony Miller
