THE LOWDOWN: Week 16

Welcome to “The Lowdown” for Week  16. This is my little corner of the fantasy football universe — feel free to pull up a chair and stay a while!

It’s that Special Time of the Year

Since I’m not all that good of a writer anymore, I’m assuming the reason you’re reading this column at this stage of the season is because you find yourselves in the championship game of your leagues. Now, there might be a few of you that are actually here to review the matchup rankings– perhaps even one or two of you might be here because you enjoy my work. More than likely, you’re here because there’s no harm in getting a 217th opinion on your lineups.

Regardless of why you’re here reading this drivel, I want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You”. While I’ll still produce the matchups for next week, my guess is that there won’t be too much commentary associated with that column, as I’ll likely be out of anything even remotely meaningful to say… so, to all the readers of this column– thanks, I truly appreciate your taking the time to read my words.

I also want to wish you all Happy and safe Holidays… enjoy the Season!

Enough Already

Before we get to this week’s matchups it’s time for another shameless plug of my new comedy show, Net News. It’s streaming right now on Amazon Prime (streaming free for members):

I’ve also put up the entire series on Youtube, so there’s no excuse for you not watching all six episodes! Go to http://bit.ly/NetNews_S1 and start watching today. I’d also appreciate it if you visited the show’s IMDB page and gave it a (hopefully) good rating and subscribe (for free) to my Youtube channel.

Now on to the rankings that hold the key to your taking home the hardware this week…
