NEW AGE RANKINGS: Week 15

A new type of ranking system for a new breed of fantasy football players… the New Age Rankings.

Terms Explained:

PPG: Points per game; calculated by standard points per reception scoring.
CoV: Coefficient of Variance; a measure of a player’s consistency.
Normalized PPG: the player’s PPG score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).
Normalized CoV: the player’s CoV score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the lower the better).
N.A.R.: the player’s New Age Ranking, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).

Quarterbacks

It’s a shame that Carson Wentz won’t realize the benefits of his stellar play this season after injuring his knee; the second-year signal caller has put together a great regular season and it would have been great for his to get some playoff experience under his belt… There’s plenty of reasons as to why the Chiefs have been stumbling to the finish line in the AFC West, but Alex Smith isn’t one of them. Smith has thus far put together a career year, and whether or not he’s under center for the Chiefs in 2018, he has turned many observers into believers in his ability to be a top-tier NFL QB.
