Terms Explained:
PPG: Points per game; calculated by standard points per reception scoring.
CoV: Coefficient of Variance; a measure of a player’s consistency.
Normalized PPG: the player’s PPG score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).
Normalized CoV: the player’s CoV score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the lower the better).
N.A.R.: the player’s New Age Ranking, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).
Quarterbacks
I don’t think people realize just how good a season Alex Smith has had in 2017; it’s a damn shame that he wasn’t named to the Pro Bowl team… you really haven’t heard too much noise about Kirk Cousins‘ season, but he’s put up another really solid season; however, with Jimmy Garoppolo now in San Francisco, it may turn out that Cousins’ best move in 2018 is to stay put in D.C.
