PICK ‘EM and SURVIVOR: Week 11

Top 5 Pick ‘Em

Season Record: 27-21-2

Philadelphia -3 (@ Dallas) –  The Eagles are fresh from a bye and caught the Cowboys at a perfect time, sans Ezekiel Elliot. Carson Wentz has been dominating the NFC East, leading the Eagles to five straight division wins. To make matters worse, the Cowboys will be without defensive leader Sean Lee for at least two weeks.

Kansas City -10.5 (@ New York Giants) –  All statistics in this matchup favor the Chiefs. Andy Reid is 16-2 in his career following a bye week, the Chiefs are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 road games and the Giants have only won two of their last 14 games as home underdogs.

Los Angeles Chargers -4.5 (vs. Buffalo) –  Enter Nathan Peterman while Tyrod Taylor takes the clipboard in the Bills offense. The Bills are 1-5 in their last six games on the west coast and Peterman only adds to the question marks that already exist; the Bils have been outscored 31 to 81 over their last two games.

Chicago +3 (vs. Detroit) –  The Bears have covered 80% of spreads when playing at home dating back to 2016. The Lions defense has been getting a lot of credit, which is warranted, but the Bears edge them out in both pass defense and rush defense statistics. Jordan Howard, Tarik Cohen, and apparently Benny Cunningham will control the game while the Bears shut down Matthew Stafford. The Lions running game ranks 30th, ahead of only the Dolphins and Cardinals.

Green Bay +2 (vs. Baltimore) –  The Ravens have been dominant at home, but struggle on the road as they’ve only covered the spread in three of their last 12 road games. Joe Flacco is averaging just 172 passing yards per game and it’s shaping up to be a below freezing game in Green Bay.

Top Survivor Pick

Kansas City (@ New York Giants) –  See above. Andy Reid is 16-2 coming off a bye week.

Survivor Avoid

Denver (vs. Cincinnati) –  The Broncos are the third most popular pick, which is strange for a team averaging less than 15 points over their previous four games.
