Top 5 Pick ‘Em

Season Record: 27-22-1

New Orleans +3.5 (@ Carolina) –  The NFC South is notorious for having divisional games be decided by three points or less. The Saints just lost another heartbreaking game against one of the top teams in the league last week while the Panthers barely won against the hapless Rams.

Miami (0) (@ Los Angeles) – Speaking of the hapless Rams, 1st overall pick Jared Goff will make his NFL debut this weekend against a Dolphins defense that has been wreaking havoc the past two weeks. No team has scored fewer points than the Rams this season who are averaging a mere 15 points per game.

Dallas -7 (vs. Baltimore) – The Cowboys are arguably the best team in the NFL this year and Ezekiel Elliot is on pace to win the MVP and Offensive Rookie of the Year. The Ravens also have the worst offense (even behind the Rams) in terms of DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average).

Washington -2.5 (vs. Green Bay) – The Packers defense has given up a whopping 111 points over the last three weeks to different types of offensives that run various schemes. The loss of Eddie Lacy has impacted their overall offense much more than anticipated, as Aaron Rodgers has been expected to carry the entire team on every drive.

Oakland -6 (vs. Houston) – The NFL regular season is heading back to Mexico City for the first time in over ten years. Unfortunately for Mexico City, one of the teams will be the Texans who have been eking out wins against some of the league’s worst teams. The Raiders are looking to stay atop the crowded and AFC West and continue their quest for a division win and first round bye.

Top Survivor Picks

New York Giants (vs. Chicago) – Just when it looked like the Bears couldn’t get any worse, they lose Alshon Jefferry for four games.

Dallas -7 (vs. Baltimore) – See above.

Survivor Avoid

Pittsburgh (@ Cleveland) – The Steelers are on the road for this divisional game and are currently riding a four-game losing streak. They are also the most popular pick this week.
