Top 5 Pick ‘Em
Season Record: 6-8-1
Baltimore Ravens +3 (vs. Pittsburgh) – Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers have always struggled on the road and they haven’t covered a spread against the Ravens since 2014. The Ravens are 12-2 while hosting the Steelers the last 14 times while holding them to 20 points or less in all but one of those games.
San Francisco 49ers +7 (@ Arizona) – Simply put, the Cardinals do not play well against teams in the division. On the other hand, the 49ers play well in Arizona! They have covered nine of the last 12 spreads playing in Arizona.
Philadelphia Eagles +1 (@ Los Angeles Chargers) – These two teams are playing on a different level through the first three weeks. The turnover-prone Chargers will constantly be under pressure against the Eagles front seven.
New England Patriots -9 (vs. Carolina) – The Panthers confirmed what we all thought about the offense with a horrendous showing in Week 3 against the pitiful Saints defense. Barring multiple defensive or special teams score, this team does not have what it takes to keep up with the Patriots.
New Orleans Saints -2.5 (@ Miami) – This is a London game, which means the Dolphins will be playing the third game in a row outside of Miami. The Saints get a bad rap when playing on the road when in reality, it’s just that Drew Brees is more human. The Saints have covered 75% of the spreads when on the road in the past two years.
Top Survivor Picks
Seattle (vs. Indianapolis) – The overwhelming favorite pick this week and rightfully so.
Dallas (vs. Los Angeles Rams) – The Cowboys at home are a nice alternative the Seahawks, who are being selected in 40% of survivor pools.
Survivor Avoids
Green Bay (vs. Chicago) – The Packers are still banged up and the Bears may be better than we all expect. Stay away from this divisional Thursday night game.
Arizona (vs. San Francisco) – Another divisional game and the Cardinals have yet to show that they can be relied upon.
