PICK’EM and SURVIVOR: Week 4

Top 5 Pick ‘Em

Tennessee +6.5 (at Houston) – Houston needs to show some life on offense before you can reliably choose it to cover any spread. The loss of J.J. Watt is a huge blow to the defense as well.

Denver -3 (at Tampa Bay) – The Denver defense is elite, no surprise. Jameis Winston will have his hands full.

Jacksonville +2.5 (vs. Indianapolis) – Blake Bortles is a much better quarterback at home. Indianapolis has underperformed thus far and are is currently ranked 28th in offense.

Seattle -1.5 (at New York Jets) – The Jets are ranked in the bottom quintile for both offense and defense. Russell Wilson may be injured, but the Seattle defense is at the top of the league.

Minnesota -4 (vs. New York Giants) – The Giants backfield is a mess with Rashad Jennings banged up and Shane Vereen out for some time. Minnesota will be able to handle a one-dimensional offense.

Top Survivor Pick

Cincinnati (vs. Miami) – A must-win game for Cincinnati, which cannot fall to 1-3 before its road journeys to Dallas and New England.

Survivor Avoid

Houston (vs. Tennessee) – See above.
