Top 5 Pick ‘Em
Season Record: 9-11
New England -10 (vs. Indianapolis) – The Colts are going to be without T.Y. Hilton, Marlon Mack and Jack Doyle this Thursday when they head to Foxborough. 10 points may seem daunting, for a Patriots team that has looked average at best, but Julian Edelman’s will be a big piece for this offense.
Los Angeles Rams -7 (@ Seattle) – The Rams are demolishing teams this year and have outscored opponents by 73 points through four weeks. Six teams haven’t even scored that many points yet. The Seahawks just lost Earl Thomas for the season and they will need a lot more than their prized home field advantage to keep this game close.
Green Bay -1 (@ Detroit) – The Lions run defense is abysmal and the Packers will need to take advantage of it in order to take some of the weight off of Aaron Rodgers shoulders. Aaron Jones has looked good since he returned and the Packers should be able to control this game with the help of Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery.
Tennessee -3.5 (@ Buffalo) – The Bills came back down to Earth in week 4 and slid right back into preseason expectations. The Titans aren’t an explosive team that will put up 40+ points, but they don’t need to… especially against the Bills.
Atlanta +3 (@ Pittsburgh) – The Steelers haven’t covered a spread in their last six home games when they are favored. This is a must-win game for the Falcons if they have any plans of making the playoffs this year…
Top Survivor Pick
Cincinnati (vs. Miami) – The Bengals are shaping up to be one of the best teams in the AFC, but their schedule isn’t that easy. This is one of the last times you can reliably take the Bengals besides their week 8 matchup against the Buccaneers.
Survivor Avoid
San Francisco (vs. Arizona) – Believe it or not, the 49ers are the fifth most popular pick this week. A division game between two teams without playoff aspirations gets a hard pass from me.
