Top 5 Pick ‘Em

Season Record: 19-16

Washington +3 (@ Cincinnati) –  The Bengals’ three wins have come against teams that rank in the bottom five of the league. They give up their home field advantage to play in London against a Redskins offense that ranks just out of the top 10.

New England -6.5 (@ Buffalo) –  The Patriots are 6-1 against the spread this year with their only non-cover coming against the Bills in Week 4. Bill Belichick will pull out all the stop this week for some classic Patriots vengeance.

Kansas City -3 (@ Indianapolis) – Andrew Luck has been carrying the entire Colts team to victory over some of the league’s worst teams. He has been rather impressive despite being behind the 30th ranked offensive line when looking at pass protection. The Chiefs, on the other hand, are well coached and solid on both sides of the ball.

Atlanta -3 (vs. Green Bay) –  The Packers lack any type of run game and it would have come back to haunt them last week if the Bears were close to an average football team. The Falcons are looking to extend their lead in the NFC South and rebound after their home loss last week.

Minnesota -6.5 (@ Chicago) – It’s quite possible that the Vikings do not have what it takes to play from behind. Luckily enough, Jay Cutler folds like a cheap suit against top notch defenses. What is the worst that can happen… Matt Barkley makes an appearance again?

Minnesota (@ Chicago) –  See above.

 Survivor Avoid

Denver (vs. San Diego) –  The Chargers offense is similar to the Falcons who were able to put up enough points against the Broncos. This is the second most popular pick this week and it is always risky to select an intra-division matchup in Survivor.
