Top 5 Pick ‘Em
Season record: 22-30
Chicago -4 (@ Detroit) – The Bears are road favorites in the first Thanksgiving game this Thursday. The Lions look to be without Kerryon Johnson and Marvin Jones as they face the league’s top ranked defense.
Dallas -7.5 (vs. Washington) – After a brutal leg injury that ended Alex Smith’s season, and quite possibly his career, the Redskins and Colt McCoy have just 3 days to prepare for their Thursday afternoon game in Dallas. McCoy hasn’t started a game since 2014 and has a career record of 7-18.
New York Giants +7 (@ Philadelphia) – The Eagles continue to suffer devastating injuries to their defensive unit and Carson Wentz is coming off his worst outing of his career. It’s unlikely the Eagles will have an answer for Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley this Sunday. Even the Giants technically have a shot to make the playoffs in a wide-open NFC East.
Carolina -3 (vs. Seattle) – The Panthers followed their embarrassing loss to the Steelers with an equally bad game against the Lions. The good news for the Cardiac Cats is that they are a much different team at home. They are riding a 10 game home win streak and have had a lot of success against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in past years.
Pittsburgh -3 (@ Denver) – After three and a half quarters of dreadful football against the Jaguars, the Steelers managed to continue their 11 game unbeaten streak on the road. Bettors have been rewarded as well. The Steelers have covered the spread or pushed in their last six games.
Top Survivor Picks
Los Angeles Chargers (vs. Arizona) – The Chargers’ schedule does not get any easier the rest of the year as they still must face the Steelers, Chiefs, Bengals, Ravens and Broncos. This is the week to use them before their schedule gets tough.
Indianapolis (vs. Miami) – The Colts are still in the hunt for the AFC South crown while the Texans are still squeaking out wins. This is a must win game to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Baltimore (vs. Oakland) – The Ravens are the most popular pick this week, and rightfully so as they host the Raiders. With Lamar Jackson still being an unknown commodity, look ahead to use the Ravens when they host the Buccaneers or Browns towards the end of the season.
