Fantasy Analysis
Season Projections
Any discussion about Miller must include the following four words: talented but injury prone. He has frequently flashed legit top-10 talent, but Miller sadly has been snakebit by the injury bug throughout his entire nine-year career. The sure-handed Miller actually was the sixth-most productive fantasy tight end in most scoring formats when he went down in Week 11 with a broken foot (Lisfranc fracture), which required surgery. Miller is expected to be ready for the preseason. As Miller enters his age-33 season, he returns to an overall favorable situation. Miller's main competition for targets at the position is blocking specialist Dion Sims and rookie Adam Shaheen. The small-school rookie is physically gifted but regarded as a project. The Bears receiver corps, following the free-agency departure of Alshon Jeffery, will feature Cameron Meredith and Kevin White. Chicago also has a new quarterback tandem of Mike Glennon and rookie Mitch Trubisky, but they aren't any worse than the threesome of Jay Cutler, Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley that the Bears used in 2016. You can count on Glennon and Trubisky using Miller as a safety valve. He's safer to use in a fantasy TE2 committee

Receiving: 15 Receptions, 125 Yards, 1 TD.
