Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 14 Projections
Tevin Coleman hit a new low last Sunday with just 15 total yards on a season-low six offensive touches, and this time there was no short rushing score to salvage an otherwise putrid fantasy performance. Instead, fantasy managers had to witness teammate Raheem Mostert rack up 154 total yards and a touchdown on 21 touches while Coleman spent much the afternoon watching from the sidelines. There were no injuries to Coleman reported after the game, so it would appear the 49ers were simply rolling with Mostert while he was in the zone. With Matt Breida (ankle) getting closer to a return, the 49ers' backfield is starting to look mighty messy.
Rushing: 45 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 2 Receptions, 14 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
The running back in a Kyle Shannahan offense is often put in a position to be successful. The ongoing problem is identifying who that player will be, for us, we're following the money. The 49ers targeting Coleman at the outset of free agency tells us they expect him to take the lead in the competition. His skills in the passing game have been demonstrated and when he has an opening, he's shown the ability to break big plays. His problems have centered around when trying to run through the line of scrimmage, but the objective of Shanahan's offense is to minimize the obstacles he would need to navigate. He doesn't come without risk as jobs in this offense are fickle week-to-week, but we factored that into his price.

Rushing: 165 Yards, 3 TD.
Receiving: 7 Receptions, 62 Yards, 0 TD.
