Fantasy Analysis
Week 13 Projections
Kirk led the Vikings to a huge comeback win against the Panthers last week. As a reward, he gets the Jaguars at home and may even get Thielen back in the lineup. He is worth consideration as a matchup play this week, but keep in mind that it could also be a Dalvin Cook game. There is some risk, but the Vikings may be cautious with Cook and just let Kirk sling it into the weakness of the Jacksonville defense.
Passing: 253 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT.
Rushing: 5 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
With the Vikings featuring their high-powered Dalvin Cook-led rushing attack, Cousins' passing production took some hits last season as expected. He dropped from sixth to 24th in attempts, 10th to 16th in passing yards and ninth to 19th in fantasy quarterback scoring, but game-manager Cousins still finished a respectable eighth in touchdown passes. His week-to-week fantasy stats rarely impressed. Cousins tossed two or fewer touchdown strikes in 12 of 16 starts and passed for 242 or fewer yards in 10 starts. By the way, Cousins, considered an opportunistic scrambler during his days with Washington, hasn't done much with his legs since he came to Minnesota, averaging just 6.0 yards per contest and one rushing score per season. Barring a long-term injury to Cook or a complete implosion of the vaunted Vikings ground game, Cousins won't return to steady high-volume passing anytime soon. Respected running game guru Gary Kubiak has replaced Kevin Stefanski as offensive boss, so Minnesota obviously will continue its run-first philosophy. Cousins' arsenal of playmakers is also weaker and has some question marks behind go-to guy Adam Thielen and red-zone specialist Kyle Rudolph. The exit of Stefon Diggs (Bills) is a huge loss. Rookie 22nd overall selection Justin Jefferson, Diggs' likely replacement, Olabisi Johnson and Irv Smith are all works in progress.

Passing: 1223 Yards, 11 TD, 4 INT.
Rushing: 26 Yards, 0 TD.
