Week 14 Projections |
** INJURY ALERT ** Bell has not practiced yet this week, so there is the potential he does not play this weekend. Check the injury report as late as possible but in the meantime, be prepared with another option. The offensive line is not able to make room, and as a result Bell has not been able to get much traction on the ground. He continues to make an impact in the passing game, so we expect this is how the Jets coaching staff [should] game plan next week against Miami. These two teams are not likely to be able to stop each other, so an offensive delight will have Bell as an above average fantasy play this week. |
Season Projections |
His efficiency is the great unknown as Bell returns from a one year sabbatical. He's fresh after not taking a years worth of pounding, but will he lose any of the agility that made him one of the leagues most unique runners? Will his vision be a notch slow? Or his legs? In a young offense lacking play-makers he can't afford much in either category because unlike in Pittsburgh, he will command all of the defense's attention. Regardless, a high volume of touches is a safe bet and that still has the most value in fantasy. There are a lot of variables he needs to overcome to separate from his floor but his ceiling is as always, sky-high. |
