Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 3 Projections
Outproduced by Ito Smith two weeks in a row despite topping him in touches, Freeman has compiled 41 rushing yards on 19 carries (2.2 yards per carry) and 54 receiving yards on six receptions (eight targets) with no touchdowns. Smith has racked up 10 carries for 63 yards despite running behind the same discombobulated Falcons offensive line and chipped in three catches for 22 yards (four targets) with no touchdowns. The Indianapolis Colts defense is ranked only 20th in rushing yards allowed, 25th in rushing touchdowns allowed and just 16th in catches allowed to tailbacks. This is a get-right matchup for Freeman on paper, but he's a very risky start right now.
Rushing: 50 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 3 Receptions, 22 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
How will he respond from his injuries? Answer that question and you can then properly assess his value. Atlanta has created an environment in which they want him to take over lead back duties, but have built in contingency plans should he not take advantage. We're skeptical of a full return to what he was in 2016. His margin for error has always been thin from an athleticism perspective, which is why he fell to the drafts third day in 2015. The tiniest hint of decline is the difference between a quality starter and a player that belongs in a committee in today's NFL. We think he'll still lead any committee for at least this year, but be warned, he is on a pass first team and will be sharing the load that he does get.

Rushing: 676 Yards, 5 TD.
Receiving: 36 Receptions, 291 Yards, 2 TD.
