Fantasy Analysis
Week 7 Projections
Keenum has been a match-up based play who has the potential to put up QB1 totals. But playing against the 49ers is not one of those match-up based plays. There is also the potential for an in-game benching, which would be his second on the season. Avoid all the Washington players where you can, especially at quarterback.
Passing: 149 Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
Rushing: 7 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
Unable to channel his 2017 Vikings career-year magic, Keenum crashed back down to earth with the Broncos last season, reminding us that he's a career journeyman for a reason and a system signal caller who needs a huge comfort zone with his playbook and his playmakers to be productive. Keenum punched out of 2018 as the fantasy QB19, despite setting new career highs in passing yards (14th most in the NFL), completions (11th) and attempts (sixth). His struggles in the red zone and a total lack of "the franchise guy" qualities sealed Keenum's fate in Denver and got him traded to Washington. With strong uncertainty about the health of Alex Smith (broken leg/surgeries), Keenum is expected to battle rookie 15th overall selection Dwayne Haskins for the starting job. The 31-year-old Keenum is usually an accurate deep-ball thrower despite his average arm strength and possesses enough mobility to extend plays. As a starter, Keenum would lack job security, a strong supporting cast - Jordan Reed, Josh Doctson, Paul Richardson and Trey Quinn - and upside in what will remain a run-heavy offense led by Adrian Peterson. At best, Keenum will keep things warm for Haskins as a game manager. At worst, Keenum will hold a clipboard for Haskins.

Passing: 1868 Yards, 12 TD, 6 INT.
Rushing: 62 Yards, 1 TD.
