Season Projections
A lingering wrist injury, a knee injury and two healthy scratches late in the season as the result of landing in now-former Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens' dog house largely explain why Njoku was limited to only four games played during a lost 2019 season. Things were looking up for Njoku when Cleveland replaced Kitchens with Kevin Stefanski. However, Njoku's fantasy prospects took a hit when the Browns signed Austin Hooper and spent a fourth-round selection on rookie Harrison Bryant, who projects as a backup pass-catching option. As for Njoku, a top-10 fantasy tight end in 2018, the athletically gifted size-speed specimen will struggle to hold consistent No. 2 fantasy tight end value, even though Stefanski's West Coast attack uses two-tight end formations ('12' personnel) regularly. While the speedy Njoku is solid as a receiver, he's not a very good blocker, which will limit his playing time.

Receiving: 7 Receptions, 79 Yards, 1 TD.
