Season Projections
The Bills had originally promised to bring Allen along slowly during his 2018 rookie season, but the dual-threat signal caller played in 12 games (11 starts) around a midseason throwing elbow injury. A dynamic runner for man of his size, Allen topped all quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns (second most by a rookie in league history), finished second in rushing yards and fourth in carries. Allen went on a major tear as the NFL's top-scoring fantasy quarterback from Week 12 through Week 17 thanks to some mind-blowing rushing production. He averaged 9.0 carries, 79.3 rushing yards and 0.8 rushing scores per contest with two 100-yard games. Despite his cannon arm, Allen struggled mightily with accuracy as expected, hitting on just 52.8 percent of his throws and compiling mostly bottom-five passing stats to finish as the fantasy QB22. The Bills added reinforcements to Allen's receiver corps with deep-threat John Brown and possession target Cole Beasley joining holdover standouts Zay Jones, the team's top returning receiver, and late-season bloomer Robert Foster. Allen now has three good receivers out of the backfield - holdover LeSean McCoy, T.J. Yeldon and Frank Gore. While Allen undoubtedly has the green light to run - that's the key to his fantasy value - he's clearly a work in progress as a passer with the pieces in place for a sophomore leap. Sharp peaks and valleys in Allen's week-to-week fantasy scoring are likely again.

Passing: 217 Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
Rushing: 25 Yards, 1 TD.
