Fantasy Analysis
Season Projections
Even though the Eagles used Goedert primarily as a blocker during the first month of 2019, he still made a nice sophomore leap thanks to increased usage alongside Zach Ertz as the team's wideout injuries piled up, especially late in the year. Goedert punched out of the regular season as the 10th-rated fantasy tight end in both non-PPR and PPR scoring formats. If you include Philadelphia's Wild Card round loss to Seattle, Goedert, in his final 12 games of 2019, caught 60 balls and notched four scoring grabs. Establishing himself as a legit mismatch weapon, Goedert possesses superb playmaking skills, great hands and nice athleticism. Unless the Eagles go through wideout injury apocalypse again, don't expect Goedert to match his top-10 finish as he slides back into his familiar touchdown-dependent backup role for 2020. Philadelphia is expected to get DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery (foot) back healthy. Marquise Baldwin has replaced Nelson Agholor (Raiders), and the Eagles are expecting contributions from second-year leap candidate J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and rookie first-rounder Jalen Reagor. If Goedert is pressed into starting duties for whatever reason, he obviously has No. 1 fantasy tight end upside in a Philadelphia offense that has led the NFL in passes completed to the tight end position three years in a row.

Receiving: 54 Receptions, 570 Yards, 6 TD.
