Fantasy Analysis
Week 3 Projections
This is the typical story line regarding Zach Ertz. People begin to get nervous about his production and then suddenly he answers with a true TE1 outpouring. With the Bengals' rookie Joe Burrow putting pressure on the Philly defense, Wentz is going to have make sure Ertz is highly involved to answer back. Goedert is eating more into his target share than predicted but the struggles at wide receiver should help support two TE1s.
Receiving: 5 Receptions, 49 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
Injuries and poor play at wideout opened the door for opponents to double team Ertz almost non-stop last season. Even though Ertz regressed from his career-best 2018 stats (nobody expected another 116 catches), he still finished as the fantasy TE5/non-PPR and as the fantasy TE4/PPR. Ertz paced the Eagles in catches for the fourth year in a row while averaging 6.0 receptions and 63 receiving yards per contest. In addition, he finished as a top-10 fantasy tight end and ranked in the top six in targets at the position for the fifth straight season. One of Philadelphia's go-to guys in the red zone, Ertz has amassed a combined 22 scoring grabs in the last three seasons. Ertz is known for his impeccable hands, mismatch-creating mobility and masterful ability to work the middle of the field. He'll turn 30 in November, but Ertz continues to perform at an elite level. The Eagles will feature a faster and deeper collection of wideouts while Dallas Goedert will continue to lurk and steal targets, but Ertz will remain Carson Wentz's go-to guy in an offense that has topped the league in passes completed to the tight end position three years in a row. It will be four straight. Keep in mind that durability remains a concern with Ertz. He usually plays through nagging injuries and has missed a combined six games in the last five years.

Receiving: 77 Receptions, 768 Yards, 6 TD.
