Fantasy Analysis
Season Projections
Looking dominant in some games but lost in others, Carr's play was very inconsistent from week to week during a rocky first season under Jon Gruden. While Carr, the fantasy QB18, set career highs in passing yards (12th most in the NFL), completions (sixth) and completion percentage (fifth among quarterbacks with at least 11 starts), he tossed a career low in touchdown passes (21st) and finished outside the top-10 in completions (12th) for the fourth straight year. Looking at Carr's game logs, he passed for 250 or fewer yards in eight games and tossed one or zero touchdown passes in 11 outings. Keep in mind that Carr's receiver corps was very thin during the second half of the season without Amari Cooper (traded), Martavis Bryant (knee, suspension) and Brandon LaFell (Achilles'). The 28-year-old Carr returns with a year of seasoning and an upgraded supporting cast, and there have been whispers that 2019 looks like a make-or-break campaign for Carr. The overhauled collection of playmakers features the elite Antonio Brown, Tyrell Williams, Ryan Grant, rookie Josh Jacobs and top returning receiver Jalen Richard. Sleeper candidate Darren Waller is first in line to replace Jared Cook (Saints). The addition of Brown alone was enough to boost Carr into sleeper territory. The pocket passer, however, does next to nothing as a runner, and a deep quarterback position has some safer backup options.

Passing: 3705 Yards, 21 TD, 10 INT.
Rushing: 58 Yards, 1 TD.
