Fantasy Analysis
Week 12 Projections
It's a shame Jimmy Garoppolo can't play the Cardinals every week, because he's totaled 741 passing yards and 8 passing touchdowns against them across two games this season (Weeks 9 and 11). On tap for a third home game in a row, Jimmy G faces a Packers defense that has allowed the 10th-most passing yards per game (257.8), but just 12 passing touchdowns on the season. Garoppolo has streaming value for Week 12, but is unlikely to put up the type of performance that can carry a fantasy lineup.
Passing: 259 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT.
Rushing: 4 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
The highly anticipated 2018 Garoppolo coming out party lasted three games before he went down with a season-ending torn left ACL. Garoppolo's level of play looked a little shakier - more overthrows and mistakes - than it was during those five promising late-year starts in 2017. Even with room for improvement, Garoppolo still performed solidly overall. A classic pocket passer, he owns an impressive skill set that includes a lightning-quick release, nice accuracy and the smarts to dissect defenses. Fantasy owners need to remember that Garroppolo, heading into his age-27/28 season, is still unproven with only 10 career starts on his career stat sheet. San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan directs a creative quarterback friendly attack and loves to score points. Backup Nick Mullens passed for at least 282 yards and at least two scores in four of the team's last five outings. Garoppolo is far more talented and should produce Mullens numbers at the minimum. Jimmy G. will benefit from an upgraded receiver corps. George Kittle has emerged as a superstar. Deep threat Marquise Goodwin, a favorite of Garoppolo's, returns along with promising second-year wideout Dante Pettis, rookie second-rounder Deebo Samuel and rookie third-rounder Jalen Hurd. The backfield is loaded with every-down threats, including Tevin Coleman, top returning rusher Matt Breida and Jerick McKinnon. Garoppolo will come cheap on draft day. His fantasy floor is backup, but Garoppolo's fantasy ceiling is top-10 starter. He makes an intriguing No. 2 option for fantasy teams.

Passing: 1516 Yards, 11 TD, 7 INT.
Rushing: 25 Yards, 1 TD.
