Fantasy Analysis
Season Projections
Wentz earned a big salute for starting all 16 regular-season games for the first time since his rookie campaign. Even though his receiver corps was absolutely gutted by wideout injuries - especially late in the season - Wentz clocked out of 2019 as the fantasy QB8 with some solid passing production. Eagles pass catchers also dropped 24 balls, which was the third most in the league, and compiled only 4.8 yards per catch. That's why volume was Wentz's friend. He ranked fifth at the position in both attempts (37.9 per game) and completions (career highs), seventh in touchdown passes (1.7 per contest) but only ninth in passing yards, which was a career best (252.4 per game) and Wentz's first 4,000-yard campaign. Turning just 28 in December, Wentz returns healthy. Armed with one of the NFL's best lines and playing in an excellent scheme for the fifth straight season, Wentz could set new career highs in passing production if a few things break his way. The elite Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert return as Wentz's security blankets over the middle (Philadelphia has completed the most passes to the tight end position three years in a row), while Miles Sanders is a very capable receiver out of the backfield (50 catches in 2019). Wentz should have more success throwing to a healthier and faster group of wideouts. Veterans DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery (foot) both return healthy (keep an eye on Jeffery), and Philadelphia added speed to the position: rookie first-rounder Jalen Reagor (4.35 wheels), rookie fifth-rounder John Hightower (4.43 jets) and veteran Marquise Baldwin (4.27 wheels). The team is also expecting J.J. Arcega-Whiteside to make a jump after an injury-troubled rookie debut. Durability, however, still remains a worry with Wentz. He has a track record for putting himself in harm's way in the pocket.

Passing: 3925 Yards, 28 TD, 7 INT.
Rushing: 196 Yards, 1 TD.
