Season Projections
Touted as a breakout candidate after an impressive 2017 rookie debut, Engram took a hard step backwards last season. Nagging injuries (knee, thigh and concussion) and the return of target monster Odell Beckham (Browns) were the biggest factors Engram's decline from fantasy TE5 to TE13. Suiting up for only 11 games, he slipped from second to 16th at the position in targets, sixth to 14th in catches, fifth to 12th in receiving yards and seventh (tie) to 17th (tie) in touchdown receptions. Forget about Engram's sophomore slump. Heading into 2019, he looks like a legit rebound candidate in what projects as an average Giants passing attack. Essentially a big wideout with mismatch creating 4.42 jets, Engram looked far more comfortable in head coach Pat Shurmur's scheme late in 2018 and should vulture a nice share of the 124 targets that Beckham left behind despite the addition of Golden Tate. By the way, Engram amassed a combined 22-320-1 in the Giants' last four games with Beckham out of the lineup. Engram, however, is still prone to inconsistency and has missed six games due to nagging ailments during his first two years in the league. Keep in mind that Eli Manning's skills are declining, and rookie sixth overall selection Daniel Jones could make some starts late in the season.

Rushing: 9 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 22 Receptions, 251 Yards, 1 TD.
