Fantasy Analysis
Week 12 Projections
The Jets have settled things down and against the Redskins their passing game looked good. The Raiders are next on the docket, and their defense will be better but not likely strong enough to derail the good times that Darnold has enjoyed the last few weeks.
Passing: 243 Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
Rushing: 6 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
Darnold's 2018 season was loaded with typical rookie quarterback ups and downs, but the Jets remain convinced that he's their franchise guy. Making 13 starts around a foot injury and coping with a young receiver corps, little support from a 26th-rated ground game and subpar play calling, Darnold finished as the fantasy QB25. He ranked 23rd in the NFL in passing yards, 24th in touchdown passes, 24th in completions and 21st in attempts. Only Baker Mayfield (Browns), the fantasy QB17, passed for more yards and scores among rookies. Despite the obstacles, Darnold's skills improved over the course of the season. During his last four starts, Darnold played his best football of the season as the NFL's top-rated passer while throwing for a combined 931 yards and six touchdowns against one pick. The fantasy arrow is clearly pointing up for Darnold in 2019. New York hired offensive-minded head coach Adam Gase to oversee his development. The team also beefed up Darnold's supporting cast, adding elite every-down tailback Le'Veon Bell and slot guy Jamison Crowder to a solid offensive unit that also includes holdovers Robby Anderson (he and Darnold flashed nice chemistry last season), Quincy Enunwa and Chris Herndon. As Darnold enters just his age-22 campaign, No. 2 fantasy quarterback value is likely at the minimum, and this franchise-caliber talent has the potential for a lot more as a legit breakout candidate.

Passing: 1341 Yards, 10 TD, 7 INT.
Rushing: 39 Yards, 1 TD.
