Fantasy Analysis
Season Projections
Selected sixth overall in the 2019 draft, Jones is the designated heir apparent to two-time Super Bowl MVP and Giants icon Eli Manning. While Jones has great size, nice short-range accuracy, good pocket presence and tons of football smarts, he possesses just average arm strength and mediocre deep-ball accuracy. As a three-year starter in a pro-style offense at Duke, Jones hit on just 59.9 percent of his passes at a soft 6.4 yards per attempt, compiling 8,201 passing yards (2,734 per season) and a solid 52:29 TD-to-INT ratio. Jones also displayed plus mobility with 17 rushing touchdowns, despite averaging just 3.3 YPC. The G-Men have insisted that Manning will start for the entire season with Jones on the "Patrick Mahomes Plan." However, when the losses pile up for rebuilding New York, expect to see Jones under center before the regular season wraps up. In a starting role, he could make some noise with help from Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram, Golden Tate and Saquon Barkley, but it's hard to see Jones quickly emerging as a fantasy asset.

Passing: 555 Yards, 4 TD, 4 INT.
Rushing: 40 Yards, 0 TD.
