Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 12 Projections
With the exception of the Baltimore game, the Patriots haven't allowed opposing tight ends to work them over. You're far more likely to see Witten contributing as a blocker far more than a receiver.
Receiving: 4 Receptions, 34 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
Reportedly unhappy with "T.V. life" and missing NFL life, Witten returned to the Cowboys following a brief one-year retirement. At 37 years old, he's supposedly going to play roughly 25 snaps or one-third of Dallas' offensive plays per game on average as the lead receiving option and red-zone threat at the position. However, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Witten handle a much larger snap load since he's only one year removed from playing 1,048 of 1,052 snaps during the 2017 season (an average of 65.5 snaps played per contest). Elite speed and athleticism were never part of the tough-as-nails Witten's game, but he's a very sure-handed guy with a great knack for getting open and lots of NFL smarts. Witten clocked out of 2017 as the fantasy TE10/non-PPR and as the fantasy TE9/PPR, ranked eighth in targets at the position. He'll operate in a crowded group of pass catchers that includes Amari Cooper, the promising Michael Gallup, Randall Cobb and Ezekiel Elliott, so it's hard to see Witten matching his 2017 production. Unless Dallas surprises the fantasy universe and increases Witten's playing time - don't bet against that happening - he projects as a serviceable backup in PPR leagues.

Receiving: 23 Receptions, 201 Yards, 1 TD.
