How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.

All times are Eastern

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons – Thursday 8:25pm
I was expecting a shootout with the play of Alvin Kamara to be the difference maker for the Saints. Instead, Kamara went down to injury which forced a gimpy Mark Ingram into action which didn’t end well for the Saints.

Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills – Sunday 1:00pm
It doesn’t sound like Tyrod Talor will be ready for this one so come on back Nathan Peterman. I know the following comment will come back to haunt me one day but.. “from what I saw last week, Peterman didn’t look all that bad.” Expect a heavy dose of LeSean McCoy here too in a Bills home game. The Colts have been struggling in the air as there is more game film on Jacoby Brissett now for opposing defensive coordinators to study. The Colts can certainly be competitive as Frank Gore will run well against the Bills. The Patriots recent win gave the Colts a blueprint to follow but the Colts aren’t the Patriots and they’ll fall short against a Bills team that does have some high quality players at some positions.

Chicago Bears at Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday 1:00pm
Meh. Fantasy wise there won’t be a lot to play from the Bears. Jordan Howard is the only real candidate and even then, he’ll have an average day by his standards. There won’t be much fantasy fun coming from the Bengals as there won’t be any big fantasy days but they will move the ball just enough to kick field goals with each possession and score an occasional touchdown. It will be that constant light pressure that the Bengals will apply that will win them this but they will do it with a variety of players in a variety of ways.

Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns – Sunday 1:00pm
The Browns absolutely have a chance in this one, it is a home game for them after all. The return of Josh Gordon will change the dynamic of their offense and it will open up so much more both in the air and on the ground for the entire offense. Expect a very serviceable day from DeShone Kizer when you add on his rushing totals, he’ll be good in the air too. The one obstacle for Cleveland though will be what the Packers bring on the ground. Jamaal Williams has been running and receiving so very well. Aaron Jones has returned which has many fantasy owners worried but I have no fear! Jamaal Williams has been running so well that it would be foolish beyond all proportions to shut him down now. If you really look at the expectations for both running backs, Williams was drafted a round earlier in the 2017 draft than Aaron Jones. Expect another big day from Jamaal Williams.

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs – Sunday 1:00pm
If Kansas City runs at all here it will be a mistake. Remember some of those Tom Brady games where the Patriots’ first rush of the day was in the third quarter? That is what the Chiefs should do here but keep Kareem Hunt involved by throwing the ball to him a bunch. Running back and wide receiver screens to the left and to the right is what gives Kansas City their biggest edge. This is a home game for Kansas City and the crowd will really let them know how deep their displeasure runs if they lose this one. The problem for the Chiefs isn’t the play calling, or the quarterback, or the head coach, the problem rests squarely on the play of the defense and heads need to roll as it’s a travesty how such a talented unit could go from first to worst in seemingly a blink of an eye. Oakland will pick apart the Chiefs defense, play what you own in a Raiders jersey and enjoy the reward.
