How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers – Thursday 8:25pm
The victory was never in doubt but I expected the Bears to compete, especially in the air as the Packers secondary can be beat. The big news out of this one is that Ty Montgomery suffered rib fractures and Davante Adams is in the leagues concussion protocol. I realize that injuries are a part of fantasy football but I’d be curious if any leagues out there think they have a good way of minimizing the impact of injuries to a starting lineup? I know that you can play with “Team Quarterback” or “Team Running Back” instead of individual quarterbacks or running backs. I’m more interested in ways anyone has tried, to minimize the negative impact in-game injuries have on weekly fantasy lineups. Drop us a note using the Contact Us link in the footer of the page.

New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins – Sunday 9:30am
As we sit here today, I’ll make the statement that, “The Saints have the best fantasy offense in the game right now. You want as much of it as you can get. ” I had a question in the weekly chat about trading away Coby Fleener and the answer to that is a simple.. No. Collect Saints, do not discard them. One of the beautiful bonuses to the Saints is that their defense is lackluster which ensures that the Saints are going to have to throw the ball. I have never been a fan of the Saints’ play calling, their system, or how they handle their personnel but even they have to start to see that they should have been running Mark Ingram as the lead horse right from the get go. Just stop it already with what fits the system, play the best players and game plan around them guys. Aaarrrr.. my blood starts to boil when I think about the Saints and their follies but at the end of the day we still get what we want, a lot of fantasy points. Play it all in this game, the only one I worry about is Jay Ajayi as he will be touchdown dependent this week. If Jay Cutler drops the ball here, it’s time to cut Jay Cutler.

Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots – Sunday 1:00pm
It is going to be an uphill battle for the Panthers — both ways. Some may say that the Panthers defense has been playing really well (and it has) but I’d just counter that with a poster of Tom Brady, an autographed copy of the “TB12 Method” and a subscription to the “Grains of the World” club. Some may say that the Patriots defensively have given up an atrocious amount of yards but I’d just counter that with Cam Newton game film from this season. He’s struggling folks. While the Patriots have certainly shown a number of chinks in their armor, the Panthers don’t have all the pieces they need to matchup for four quarters against Tom Brady at home.

Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets – Sunday 1:00pm
What an odd game this will turn into. It essentially will boil down to Leonard Fournette rumbling large vs. the New York Jets passing game. You read that right, the passing game. I’m OK with a Bilal Powell start just because he can be very involved in the passing game. Expect some unexpected gains from the Jets in the air. If you were hoping to surprise your opponent with a last-minute Blake Bortles addition to your lineup, you’re going to regret that decision as Fournette is going to get it going in this one. The running will eventually become so easy that Chris Ivory puts in a very quiet solid fantasy day as well.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns – Sunday 1:00pm
The Battle for Ohio. Two things of note will happen in this game. Joe Mixon will run wild and the Bengals defense will rack up a nice score as DeShone Kizer reminds us all that he still is a rookie.

Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys – Sunday 1:00pm
The Rams just aren’t on the same level as the Cowboys and this will be a tough one for them in Dallas. I’d play Todd Gurley myself but the matchup is a horrible one. Dallas’ defense can be good when up against the right opponent and the Rams are the right opponent. Expect the Cowboys to want to grind this game away with Ezekiel Elliott on the ground.
