How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.

All times are Eastern

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers – Thursday 8:25pm
This game has been played as I write this. Looks like things turned out fairly close. The loss of Hoyer to a broken arm certainly impacted things.

New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams – Sunday 9:30am
The Rams are at home and you have to take notice of the good game Case Keenum had last week. The Giants secondary can be beat and the Rams will play scrappy. You play Odell Beckham and Eli Manning is not a stretch.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins – Sunday 1:00pm
If LeSean McCoy can’t go it will hamper the Bills some, but Mike Gillislee will still handle the load well. Do not expect a lot from either passing game as the Bills don’t like to throw and the Dolphins will have their hands full with the Bills Defense.

Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets – Sunday 1:00pm
The only way that the Jets get a chance in this is if Joe Flacco can’t play — which is looking more and more like a reality. Could this be a Ryan Mallett vs. Geno Smith showdown?!? Say it isn’t so! The only true benefactor in such a train wreck are the defenses. Enjoy the day if you are starting the Ravens or Jets Defenses.

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday 1:00pm
If it weren’t for Andy Dalton, the Browns could win this but the Bengals have one too many weapons for the Browns to cover. As long as Dalton can find the open receiver each play, the Bengals will win without too much of an effort here. The surprise will be that the Browns offense plays quite well with a balanced attack against a tough Bengals Defense.

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans – Sunday 1:00pm
Do not sell these Titans short, this will be one of Andrew Luck‘s most difficult challenges this season. Tennessee at home will be able to put up points on a very weak Colts defense at will, you start everything you can find that is wearing a Titans jersey and insert them into your lineup. When the Colts have the ball they will struggle in pass protection and will have trouble opening lanes for Frank Gore. For as bad as the Colts are, Andrew Luck is astonishing in that they have a chance in every game just because of him. Truly amazing.

Oakland Raiders at Jacksonville Jaguars – Sunday 1:00pm
Home field decides this one; put this game in Oakland and the advantage swings their way. I realize the Jaguars offense is out of step and Blake Bortles maybe isn’t as studly of a quarterback this season as some had thought, but he can still manage decent fantasy outings. If the Jaguars can figure out how to get his motor started early instead of in the fourth quarter, then things will turn. My advice? Go no huddle the first drive, open with a two-minute drill and see if you can get his blood pumping early. He needs to be less cerebral and more reactionary, then we can sing his praises in this column. In case you missed it, Oakland’s young secondary didn’t come together as hoped, it’s a shooting gallery out there, and the Jaguars bring four all-world sprinters to the track.

New Orleans Saints at Kansas City Chiefs – Sunday 1:00pm
There is no doubt that the Chiefs will be able to score regularly on the Saints with what arguably is the worst defense in all of football. Play what you can muster. But like the Colts and Andrew Luck, the Saints have Drew Brees, who is having an amazing season given that he has been on the decline for the last four seasons. Even in Kansas City, I put my chips behind Brees in an OT thriller.
