THE PROGNOSTICATOR: Wildcard Weekend

Welcome my fantasy brethren to another edition of The Prognosticator, may it cause you pause. The playoffs are here and are we as excited as ever for what should be an action filled fun run through the NFL post season tournament. Our only hope is that this year, the Zebra’s don’t decide who moves on and who goes home. Enjoy the games!

How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.

All times are Eastern

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans – Saturday 4:35pm
This will be all Devin Singletary with the rest being defense on defense. Many in DFS that try to stack Houston will be sorely disappointed.

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots – Saturday 8:15pm
This game is truly a coin flip as New England at home negates a lot of what Tennessee wants to do but in what becomes the first shocker of the NFL playoffs, New England has trouble containing the Titan ground game and they never really get there own ground game going. Brady will be Brady but he’s one man and it will take a team to get this done.

Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints – Sunday 1:05pm
The Saints come out looking all-world for their first playoff appearance which will make many start to wonder if maybe they should really be the favorites in the NFC.

Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles – Sunday 4:40pm
In the second shocker of the weekend, Philadelphia looks like an entirely different team as they literally own this game from start to finish. In fact, the Eagles followed closely by the Saints, will be the top offenses of this first Wildcard Weekend of games.

Favorite: Seattle Seahawks by 1.5
Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 24 – Seattle Seahawks 20
