ON THE RISE: Players Emerging into the Top-10

Let’s take a look at a few players who can crack the Top-10 at their respective positions. They are currently ranked outside of the Top-10, but have the ability and opportunity to emerge into that ranking by the end of the season.

Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers

WR’s need to stay healthy, but he is going to throw early and often. That much volume can translate into a solid season.

Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals

Could provide consistency all season long and find himself at the brink of the Top-10.

Eli Manning, New York Giants

Tons of weapons on offense & addition of multiple red zone targets. If O-Line can protect, he can have a big season.

Top 5 Potential

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

He was the #1 QB two years ago and the Carolina offense should bounce back this year.

Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings

Gaining steam this preseason. If can hold off Latavius Murray stealing goal line touches he could have huge season.

Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals

Three down back with the most skill in the Bengals backfield.

Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

Rounding out the rookie selections, takes major leap with Ware injury. He has the upside to be the RB1 in the Kansas City offense.

Top 5 Potential

Todd Gurley , Los Angeles Rams

Bust in 2016, offense restructured in 2017. He has the talent to overcome a mediocre offense.

DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans

Can’t question his talent, he just needs a QB to get him the ball. Similar to Allen Robinson‘s situation.

Jamison Crowder, Washington Redskins

(PPR) Pryor is getting all of the hype in D.C., but Crowder and Cousins had a big connection in’16. He is a threat for 85+ catches.

Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers

It will be a stretch to make the Top-10, but in the Green Bay offense anything is possible. See James Jones in 2012.

Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers

Just like Adams, Top-10 may be a reach, but another year removed from ACL injury in an offense that will bounce back in ’17.

Top 5 Potential

Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys

If he stays healthy, he can rack up TD’s in Dallas and find elite form again.
