SPREADING CHEDDAR: The One Stop Gambling Shop – Week 14

There is a NEW SECTION OF THE WEBSITE that is solely dedicated to betting. You will find a comprehensive model that not only aims to highlight inefficiencies in Spreads and Over/Under lines but will also provide a bookmaker that is offering the bet with the most lucrative odds.

I will post my favorite picks from the model and sprinkle in some Player Prop bets to keep it spicy. If the mood strikes, you can expect some parlays to carry through the entire weekend as well.

Season Results: +39 Units
Overall Record: (78-72-0)
Week 13 Results: +12 Units

15U: Miami +5 (-110) @ New York Jets – The Jets are going to be without Le’Veon Bell and Jamal Adams this weekend. I can’t wait to see what Adam Gase has in store for us this weekend.

15U: Kansas City +3 (-110) @ New England – The Chiefs pass defense is one of the best in the league and while their run defense is suspect, the Patriots haven’t shown much on offense lately. The Patriots will try to control the game and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field, which will make this a close game which will help to keep the total low.

Moneyline Parlay

15U: (+425)

  • Tennessee Titans (–159) @ Oakland – These two teams have been speeding in different directions over the last two weeks.
  • Jacksonville (+150) Los Angeles Chargers – The Jaguars are a much better team with Gardner Minshew under center. You hate to see it, but this is a year where Philip Rivers wished he would have already retired.
  • Minnesota (-667) Detroit – David Blough against the Vikings top 10 defense. There isn’t much else to this.
  • Green Bay (-769) Washington – Dwayne Haskins is averaging less than 150 yards per game and a touchdown to interception ratio of 2:3.

10U: Tampa Bay vs. Indianapolis : Under 47.5 (-110) – The Colts will be without T.Y. Hilton for another week and it is clear they Jacoby Brissett is less than 100%. Marlon Mack is returning, but only to face one of the top run defenses in the league.

Player Props

15U:  Ryan Fitzpatrick Over 249.5 Passing Yards (+105)Jamal Adams is out, which means we get another week of Fitzmagic

10U:  Derrius Guice Over 40.5 Rushing Yards (-115) – The Packers are surprisingly easy to run on despite how good their offensive line has been playing.

10U:  Tyler Boyd Over 60.5 Receiving Yards (-115)Andy Dalton is exactly what the Bengals wide receivers need. A.J. Green is still out, as expected, so Boyd will continue to thrive.

10U:  Allen Lazard Over 30.5 Receiving Yards (-115) – Lazard has quickly established himself as the Packers 2nd option at wide receiver.

10U:  Mike Williams to Score A Touchdown (+275) – We are going to ride this bet every week until it hits. There has never been a wide receiver to record 1000+ yards without a touchdown, but Williams is on pace to do just that.
