SPREADING CHEDDAR: The One Stop Gambling Shop – Week 17

There is a NEW SECTION OF THE WEBSITE that is solely dedicated to betting. You will find a comprehensive model that not only aims to highlight inefficiencies in Spreads and Over/Under lines but will also provide a bookmaker that is offering the bet with the most lucrative odds.

I will post my favorite picks from the model and sprinkle in some Player Prop bets to keep it spicy. If the mood strikes, you can expect some parlays to carry through the entire weekend as well.

Season Results: +127 Units

Overall Record: (95-83-2)

Week 16 Results: +41 Units

Spreads:

15U: Tennessee -3 (-110) @ Houston – The Titans need to win this game to even have a shot at making the playoffs. Even though the Texans starters will be playing, the game will be different since they have nothing to play for.

10U: Cincinnati -2.5 (-110) vs. Cleveland – It is a low bar, but the Bengals have the better coach and a better quarterback.

10U: Denver -3 (-110) vs. Oakland – The Broncos have been impressive over the past few weeks. Their defense is now ranked in the top 10 and they will cruise to a win if turnovers do not get out of hand.

Moneyline Parlay:

15U: (-118) – All four of these teams are playing for the potential of a first round bye. It just so happens that these divisional matchups are between the best and worst teams within each respective division.

  • New Orleans (-670) @ Carolina
  • New England (-1115) Miami
  • Green Bay (-625) @ Detroit
  • Kansas City (-375) Los Angeles Chargers

Over/Under:

10U: Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh : Over 37 (-110) – Both of these teams are well coached and even if the Ravens are resting their starters, points will be scored.

Player Props:

15U: Tom Brady Total Interceptions Under .5 (-140) – The Dolphins have the worst pass defense in the league. The Patriots will be able to cruise in this matchup.

15U: Mike Williams Receiving Yards Over 54.5 (-115) – Williams has had more than 50 receiving yards in all but 3 games this year, including the last 8.

10U: Andy Dalton Passing Yards Over 229.5 (-115) – Quite possibly the last game for Dalton as a Bengal. The Browns haven’t shown much on defense and are still without their best defensive lineman.

10U: David Montgomery Rushing Yards Over 59.5 (-115) – The Vikings will be resting players this weekend, specifically their linebackers.
