New Orleans Saints at home vs New York Jets (Grade A+): The Saints are the play of the week in Week 15.  The Saints have had a much better than expected defense this year; they create turnovers and rush the quarterback. This week they are at home versus a Jets team that has had a better than expected offense this season. That was until Josh McCown went down. Bryce Petty will step in at quarterback and if there is one thing we know about Bryce Petty, it’s that he is no Josh McCown. The Saints should pull ahead early and coast from there.

Baltimore Ravens at the Cleveland Browns (Grade A): DeShone Kizer has played better the last few weeks and Josh Gordon has also been good since his return. Neither of these things will continue against a very strong Ravens defense. The Ravens are fighting for a playoff spot and I don’t see them looking past anyone because they need every win they can get. Like the Saints, the Ravens will coast to an easy win.

Denver Broncos at the Indianapolis Colts (Grade A): While the Broncos offense has been going through the motions the last few weeks, the defense is still playing like a juggernaut. The Broncos give up the fewest yards per game and as bad as the offense has been, they should still be able to do enough to win the game. As long as the offense doesn’t turn the ball over the Broncos defense will be a very solid play this week.

Fantasy Fools Gold

Carolina Panthers at home vs Green Bay Packers (Grade C-): If there is one thing I know for sure it’s that you never bet against Aaron Rodgers when the playoffs are on the line. If Rodgers plays this week I expect that he will have a very big game and a defense that will be counted on to carry Carolina to a win will come up short. If you happen to have a solid alternative, I would consider sitting the Panthers this week.

Daily Fantasy Corner

Detroit Lions at home vs Chicago Bears (DK $3,400/ FD $4,900): The Lions have a good/not great defense and that is good enough when they are playing the Bears. The Bears are just plain bad on offense and on their best day they just don’t put up good numbers. The Lions are a smart cheap play for daily fantasy football.
