Just two weeks are left in the NFL season and the choices are becoming slim. Check out my game-by-game analysis for Week 16…
With a short week, let’s get right into the games and selections for the holiday weekend…
THURSDAY NIGHT
Carolina at Pittsburgh – The Steelers are an option this week, but they’re not the same team without Troy Polamalu.
SATURDAY NIGHT
Dallas at Arizona – Dallas could be a selection for this week, but I’d rather stay away from the road teams.
SUNDAY
Washington at Jacksonville – Jags are a choice at home against the Skins.
Detroit at Miami – Horrible road team over the past few seasons vs. Dolphin team that has been poor at home this season. I like the Fish as a choice this week. Don’t expect the Lions to win another game on the road.
San Francisco at St. Louis – Stay away from the divisional matchup, but I like Rams at home.
Tennessee at Kansas City – The Chiefs need to win to hold on to the AFC West lead. They’ll get it done in Arrowhead.
NY Jets at Chicago – The pick is the Bears, but avoid in survivor.
New England at Buffalo – Pass on this one.
Baltimore at Cleveland – Another divisional game, pass.
Houston at Denver – Too tough to call for two disappointing 2010 teams.
San Diego at Cincinnati – Chargers are an option on the road this week.
Indianapolis at Oakland – Avoid this one. Big test for Indy.
NY Giants at Green Bay – Best game of the week.
Seattle at Tampa Bay – Seattle is a different team on the road. The Bucs still can make the playoffs with a few wins and some help.
SUNDAY NIGHT
Minnesota at Philadelphia – Worst Sunday night matchup of the season.
MONDAY NIGHT
New Orleans at Atlanta – I think the Saints rebound on MNF.
SELECTIONS: A few options this week. Dolphins, Jaguars, Chiefs. I will keep it all in the AFC with those three teams. If you need a fourth option, go with the Rams at home.
Good luck and enjoy the holiday!
