Survivor Pools – Week 7

Go Green?
It was not a good idea in Week 6. The heavily favored Eagles and Jets went down
in Week 6, eliminating a good number of survivors for the first time in a few
weeks. It only gets harder from this point forward, especially with six teams
on a bye in Week 7. Check out this week’s analysis on the 13 games.

Week 7
games …

Colts @
Rams – Have no doubts about taking the Colts anywhere they play.

49ers @
Texans – Tricky game, stay away. Can’t really judge how good either team is.

Chargers
@ Chiefs – Stay away.

San Diego
sure is disappointing, again.

Packers @
Browns – Keep away from this game. Not trusting the Pack on the road.

Vikings @
Steelers – This one’s gonna be good.

Patriots
@ Buccaneers – The question in

Tampa
this season will be … will the Bucs win a game? Take a look at that schedule; it
won’t be easy.

Bills @
Panthers – Stay away. If

Carolina
can win and get back to .500, they might be able to make some noise in the Wild Card hunt (since the Saints are not being caught). However, I can’t put any
confidence in Jake Delhomme.

Jets @
Raiders – How the mighty have fallen.

New
York
was 3-0 and the football world was all over
them. What a difference three weeks make. Jets fans were teased after the 8-3
start last year and it looks to be similar this season.

Falcons @
Cowboys – Good NFC matchup, but the Falcons are the better team.

Bears @
Bengals – Intriguing NFC vs. AFC matchup. I’d like the Bears if they were home,
but let’s see if

Cincinnati
can rebound after last week’s loss. I think they do to avoid dropping two
straight at home.

Saints @
Dolphins – Contrasting styles face off in

Miami.
Stay away.

Cardinals
@ Giants – I like Big Blue to rebound at home against the Cardinals. Anquan Boldin is
a game-time decision, but the Giants should get after Kurt Warner here.

Eagles @
Redskins – Stay away from the NFC East. Both teams coming off messy weeks. The
Skins are in disarray, but the Eagles lost to

Oakland.

Your options if have not yet used:

Indianapolis

,

New England

My pick

: With a limited selection this
weekend, I’m going with the

New York Giants to rebound at home against the
Cardinals. Drew Brees lit them up last week, but the Giants will get after Warner outdoors. Peyton took care of the Cardinals 31-10 a few weeks ago and I
expect little brother Eli to do the same, though it will be a little closer. Giants
by 10+.
