Houston survived a big scare in Week 11 as the Texans seemed to be the safest pick on the board as 16-point favorites. There are no more byes as we have nearly reached the homestretch of the season. Check out the analyses for this weekend’s games, including three Thanksgiving matchups.
I would not touch any of the Thanksgiving games in survivor. The Detroit Lions should play tough at home, the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys is going to be a close game, and the New York Jets have played the New England Patriots tough under Rex Ryan.
The Cincinnati Bengals are a big favorite at home against Oakland this weekend. They are likely a popular choice as a team that no one has used yet. The Denver Broncos are a big favorite in Kansas City, and while I hate taking divisional road teams, your options are limited this weekend. There are a lot of tight games on the schedule this week, especially in the NFC. These games include Atlanta at Tampa Bay, Minnesota at Chicago, San Francisco at New Orleans, and Green Bay at New York Giants. Those four games should not be touched. Seattle would be a good pick if at was at home, but not in Miami. Baltimore and San Diego is virtually a toss-up. The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Cleveland without their top two quarterbacks so you need to avoid that game as well.
Monday Night Football
Carolina at Philadelphia – Awful game that you need to stay away from.
There are not many choices this week and the only two picks I can recommend are the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos (in that order). If you do not have either team, look for a home favorite like the Indianapolis Colts to rebound at home against the Buffalo Bills.
Since the choices are slim, here are my picks for each game. (in order of kickoff time)
There are a lot of toss-ups other than my two above recommendations, so only go outside the box if you do not have those teams available.
Good luck and have a happy Thanksgiving!
